Ontario County Department of Public Works is looking for qualified applicants to fill seasonal Lifeguard positions for the 2026 Summer Season. Salary for 2026 Season: $20.60/hr.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age.
Special Requirements at Time of Appointment:
Waterfront Lifeguarding also requires: American Red Cross Lifeguard Waterfront Module. * NOTE: May be 15 years of age if employed at a facility where a Senior Lifeguard is present. NOTE: The New York State Department of Health requires CPR Certificates renewed annually for Lifeguarding positions, regardless of the expiration date on the card.
